Dan Perjovschi

Having expanded his practice as a political cartoonist towards the field of contemporary art, Perjovschi has developed a distinct language that merges drawing, cartoon, graffiti and conceptual art. The candid, minimalist sense of humour evident in his drawings exposes the sometimes contradictory effect of ideologies, state politics and consumerism on our everyday life. Perjovschi will respond to the thematic framework of the exhibition through a site-specific intervention.
