Open Call for a Refugee Monument in Berlin

Within the framework of the Herbstsalon Anonymous Stateless Immigrants is launching a public appeal for ideas for a »Refugee Monument«. The proposals will be shown as part of a participative installation: visitors can browse through manifold ideas and project their ideal notions. In this process, the multitude of ideas and constant shifts, the very thing that constitutes the monument is created.
Anonymous Stateless Immigrants (ASI) was founded in 2011 in the Netherlands as a loose collective of artists and activists. ASI implements interventions and participative projects in public spaces in which they explore mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion, and issues of citizenship and identity.
