Karo Akpokiere

Inspired by the experiences and observations from the past year, when he lived between Germany and Nigeria, Karo Akpokiere realized a series of drawings. This forms a kind of diary of the artist’s experiences, which also include his impressions of getting involved with people from the Oranienplatz occupation. In the drawings he makes use of hand drawn typography and everyday found objects to tell familiar stories in different ways.
